  • The mother reminds the daughter of an event they went to when she was young, where a group of artists took over an old prison and used art to reclaim and recreate a space. This is based on a true story told in the documentary, "Liberating a Prison," by the poet and video artist Gabriel Vallecillo Márquez about a group known as Colectivo/Action Hormiga. In the documentary a young father and artist named Denis Berrios uses art and collective art as a way to inspire hope and change in Tegucigalpa. He wants to use art to create a place where his son can grow up well and safe.
